Energy dirty sodas
How to make a dirty soda with an energy drink: ratios, the best syrup pairings and a caffeine note.
The idea
Swap soda for an energy drink and build it like a dirty soda: syrup first, ice, slow pour, then cream or coconut cream.
Pairings that work
Blue raspberry with coconut, peach with coconut cream, strawberry with popping boba, mango with lime. Citrus-forward energy drinks take fruit syrups best.
Caffeine note
A 12 oz energy drink can carry 100 to 200 mg of caffeine or more. Check the can, and don't stack it with other caffeine. Not for kids or anyone sensitive to caffeine.
Lighter version
Sugar-free energy drink plus sugar-free syrup and coconut cream keeps it creamy with very little sugar.
